If you are on this website reading this blog, then the environment is important to you. We are like-minded people.
The use of chemical pesticides has caused tremendous damage to numerous species, the water supply, and the very soil from which we grow our food. (DDT ring a bell?) Destructive practices like monocultures (too much of one plant), growing Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs), uncontrolled run-off and erosion, etc. cause harm and compromise the Earth’s Bounty, or ability to grow plants. Synthetic chemicals are not just toxic pesticides -they also come in the form of man-made chemical fertilizers. These non-natural substances are deadly to the health of the soil! Healthy soil is key to successful plant production.
It is entirely possible to feed a family of four for an entire year on only 1 acre of land, but you won’t hear about that from so called experts because it is against the narrative. Big Agriculture will continue with profit-driven, synthetic poisonous solutions. But… YOU have the ability to create a safe, healthy, productive Earth within your own world. All it takes are baby steps toward your own healthy soil and therefore, a healthy garden.
What is wrong with using man-made synthetic pesticides? Learn why you should use all-natural pest control methods here.
Don’t be intimidated that you are going to grow 100% of your food as that is a monumental task wrought with knowledge most do not possess. But if you yearn for the mouth-watering taste of a fresh, flavorful tomato plucked straight from the vine… Then you need some Regenerative Gardening for your property.
How to incorporate Regenerative Gardening techniques in your own yard for healthy soil.

- Context: Consider the specifics of your yard that are unique? Culturally – sun/shady, wet/dry and Functionally – private/public, seen up close/far away, gathering/workspace, etc.
- Limit Disturbance: No-Till. Do not add synthetic chemical pesticides or fertilizers. Get a Greenbug System.
- Armor the Soil: Cover with Compost or Mulch. Or have ground cover plantings to prevent erosion.
- Build Diversity: Variety of plants!
- Maintain roots in the soil year-round for soil biology.
- Integrate Animals: 4-legged and pollinators.
These easy Regenerative Gardening steps will improve the soil structure and increase water filtration to achieve the goal of healthy soil.
Quick review: Keep soil intact with mulch and/or plants and do not disturb. DO NOT Use synthetic chemical pesticides and fertilizers. Build a variety of plant material and welcome the pollinators.
Let’s do this!
